#rebekah #queen original #i'm constantly annoyed by how some people keep saying 'she's just a girl' #because she's not #she was once; a thousand years ago #but after that came over one thousand years of bloodshed and rebekah voluntarily helping her brothers terrorize people #and no doubt killing people herself as well #and this cure storyline just makes me so damn angry because rebekah doesn't deserve the cure imo #she doesn't deserve to become human and live out her life like the past one thousand years didn't happen #like she didn't string men up to torture them and drank from girls until they died #like she wasn't a monster as the rest of her family #no #and just the idea that the show is trying to write a redemption arc for this thousand year old vampire #without talking of the horrible things she did all those years; or even those things she did when she first came on the show #makes me so angry #i mean I get where rebekah is coming from; I get that she doesn't trust her family; that she is lonely; that she wants to be loved #i even get that she might want to be human to fix it all #but the show should at least bother remembering that rebekah is not 'just a girl' #that she lived through a thousand years and that she's just as horrible as the rest of her family #jfc this is the woman who stabbed damon when he flirted with her to distract her; who stabbed stefan for lying about elena #who smiled and watched while her brother terrorized a group of high school students #and who then enrolled in school and expected them to accept her #tvd #oops this kind of turned into a rant
